Technical Details

NASA/FLAGRO is written in FORTRAN 77. Two machine versions are available. Sample executables are included on each distribution medium. The IBM PC version also includes the source code and executable for a simple menu interface written in C-language.

  1. The IBM PC version (MSC-22550) requires an 80386 or higher CPU with a math coprocessor and 4Mb RAM. It has been successfully implemented on a DECpc 486 running MS-DOS 6.2. The Lahey FORTRAN 77 compiler, F77L-EM/32 v5.01, is necessary to recompile the source code.

  2. The Macintosh version (COS-10073) requires at least a Macintosh II series computer and 5-8Mb RAM. It has been successfully implemented on a Macintosh Quadra 800 running System 7.1.
