Reports- Non-Standard

Non-standard reports differ from standard reports in that they have customer configuration control files. Some require additional utilities, such as Procmail, for conversion of e-mail messages into system logs. Others require only a sub-set of the configuration files needed by a standard report. Where application, the same algorithm used within the standard reports for sorting data is used here. Non-standard reports generated by SLAPS-2 include the following:
Report Description
SMTP Mail Summarization of log messages related to sendmail and SMTP messaging.
E-mail Volume Summary Presents graphical summary of e-mail volume (number of messages, number of bytes) during a particular hour. Large messages (e.g., over 2MB) are also listed.
Quota Summarization of system disks and users exceeding quota limits. Requires additional custom scripts to generate quote report e-mails and Procmail for converting quota report e-mails into system logs.
File Changes Summarization of system files that have been found to change. Requires additional customer scripts (e.g., Tripwire analysis scripts) to generate file change e-mail messages and Procmail for converting the file change e-mail into system logs.
