Tooth Morphology is a self-study computer-aided instruction package targeted for Dental, Dental Hygiene, and Dental Assisting students. It consists of a series of modules that cover, basic nomenclature, anatomy of the human dentition, and waxing instructions consistent with a typical Dental Anatomy course within a dental school. Modules are divided according to tooth type; incisors, canines, premolars and molars.
Each tooth type is described and illustrated from facial, lingual, mesial and distal views. Natural teeth have been selected as representative types wherever possible. Anatomical characteristics as they relate to restorative considerations are noted. The modules are well illustrated. The material can be used as the basis for a course, an adjunct to textbooks, or a review primer for National Boards.
